최근 앰뷸런스 제도가 바뀌면서 응급상황시 911에 전화를 하게 되면 구급차가 환자를 가장 가까운 병원으로만 보시게 됩니다. 더 이상 환자가 원하는 병원으로 갈수 없게 되었습니다.
응급상황시 Northshore University Hospital 이나, 어린이는 Cohen Children's Medical Center로 가기 원하신다면 911이 아닌 833-259-2367에 전화를 하시면 Northwell 구급차가 와서 원하시는 병원으로 모실수 있습니다.
With recent changes to ambulance protocols, if you call 911 during an emergency, the ambulance will transport the patient only to the nearest hospital. Patients can no longer choose their preferred hospital.
If, in an emergency, you wish to be taken to North Shore University Hospital, or for children to Cohen Children’s Medical Center, you may call 833-259-2367 instead of 911. A Northwell ambulance will respond and can transport you to the hospital of your choice.
